FISCAL YEAR ENDS     NEW FEATURE

Within several countries, the calendar year end differs from the fiscal year end. Client Valuation packs should actually run from the fiscal year end date instead the calendar year end. eXimius 5.5.6 includes a new option to report from the fiscal year end. The fiscal year end can be set up on the company level or on the individual portfolio level.

ROUTING FROM DEALERS     NEW FEATURE

The eXimius OMS has a separate dealing desk. The dealing desk consists of several queues both private and public and was used to deal the actual orders over the phone to brokers. No electronic routing was available in previous eXimius versions to send orders from a dealer to an electronic channel.

With eXimius 5.5.6, this limitation has been completely removed. Dealers now have the option to send the orders via FIX to their preferred target. Both STP routing and RSP trading are now available to the dealers.

AUTOMATIC FX FLOW     ENHANCED FEATURE

Forex orders were previously available on Single Security orders in eXimius. The forex orders were created during initiation of the security order. In the new version, this process has been reworked to create a more efficient flow and has also been extended to Block Security Orders.

In addition, the security and linked forex order are now ‘waiting’ for each other to be executed and are automatically updated and pushed to the next life cycle status.

ClientEngage SYNCHRONISATION     NEW FEATURE

CRM systems are increasingly pivotal to asset and wealth managers. In fact, a new Celent survey presented at the Objectway International Customer Conference this month found that CRM systems are the most widely used technology by investment advisors.

The advantage of a CRM system is not only its ability to capture and document client interactions, but also to give a full 360 view of the client. A great deal of relevant client financial and relationship data is stored in eXimius. With the new CRM Synhronisation feature, eXimius makes a wide range of this data available to a CRM system.

This data includes Clients, Relations, Roles, Reporting Communications, Portfolios, Values, Performances, Yields, and so on. Now you can access this information in Client Engage, Objectway’s vertical CRM solution, or a third-party CRM system.
